The Oral History of Western Australian dance collates and records stories from significant West Australian dance artists and collaborators to preserve for the future. This project builds on a previous research project which is kept at the Battye Library.
Ausdance WA wishes to thank Lotterywest for funding for this Oral History Research and to Ms Varyna Bromilow for her work in collating this project. Thanks also to Ms Lynn Fisher and Joan Pope OAM for their invaluable advice and support and to the panel who selected the interviewees: Joan Pope, David Hough, Rita Clarke and Maggi Phillips including Jo Pickup who did a splendid job interviewing Sue Peacock in Varnya’s absence. Thank you to all the interviewees for their time and candour.
DVDs of this project are available by contacting Ausdance WA.
