This 2-hour introductory workshop will provide dance teachers with basic compositional skills for making dance. Led by Bernadette Lewis, this workshop will cover skills such as improvisation to explore new movement, and an introduction to the elements of dance, choreographic devices and structures. Great for a refresher or to reinvigorate your teaching practice, this workshop will provide teachers with strategies to share with students for successful facilitation in the classroom.
