Dance in Country Week

Dance in Country Week 2017 will run from June 26 -30 from 9am – 4pm, at King Street Arts Centre studios. Ausdance WA in association with School Sport WA will run a Dance Program for regionally based students, offering the opportunity to learn from highly experienced dance artists in a range of challenging dance activities scheduled during the week. The program will include contemporary technique and choreography as well as two cultural dance forms. Our guest teachers and students will enjoy a Meet and Greet session with professional artists and companies, a tour of a dance centre or performance venue as well as extra PD support for regional teachers. Teams will be assessed throughout the week on technique, performance ability and teamwork.
