CIA Industry Workshops – Reactive Video

CIA Studios is hosting a series of industry workshops aimed at supporting artist professional development throughout 2016. These full-day and half-day workshops cover a variety of different skills, from creative coding, making your own puppets and gadgets, video editing and professional writing in an arts context.
REACTIVE VIDEO – December 9, 2pm – 5pm
Have you ever wanted to incorporate live video into your performance – be it music, theatre or otherwise? Ever wondered if you could create visuals that react to your music or movement – even if it’s improvised? Incorporating video editing, animation and projection mapping skills, this workshop will show ways to develop reactive video that is designed for projection art, dynamic performances and interactive installations. Includes a tutorial on using video performance software VDMX.
