Tranby College are now taking applications from students currently in Year 6 or 7 who would like to audition for entry in to the 2017 Dance Academy program. Students accepted into the programme will receive professional tuition in dance technique and participate in regular workshops with professional dancers and choreographers as part of four hours of study per week focusing on the following:
• Technique in a range of genres, with core training in Contemporary and Ballet
• Performance skills
• Dance terminology
• Creative development
• Choreographic skills
• Safe dance practices
• Nutrition
• Self-management skills
• Leadership and team building
