Miguel Angel Espino: Spanish Dance Workshops – November 2016

$25 – $300Youth Ballet WA proudly presents a series of workshops with Miguel Angel Espino!
Miguel joined the ballet Nacional de España at 16 years of age where he worked for 5 years becoming a soloist. Over the years Miguel has received numerous awards and has performed extensively worldwide. Recently Miguel has performed with well-known dancers such as Joaquin Ruiz, Lola Greco, Antonio Canales, Javier Barón and Elvira Andrés. He formed his own company Miguel Ángel España Ballets and has choreographed several works for it. He has worked as a guest teacher internationally and is appreciated for his clear teaching, patience and ability to share his passion of Spanish Dance. Youth Ballet WA is proud to sponsor classes and workshops during

Level 1: Farruca
Participants should have a moderate technique, a fair knowledge of Spanish Dance, an understanding of compass and be able to pick up fairly easily.
Danza Estilizada technique/Abla con Ella
Open level. Participants should have a sound to solid technique. Castanets may be used.

8:00 – 9:00pm: Level 2
Saturday 19/11 & Sunday 20/11
12:00 – 1:30pm: Level 2
1:30 – 2:30pm: Danza Estilizada
3:00 – 4:30pm: Level 1
Five Day Teachers/Advanced Course

Workshop Costs:
Four Day Flamenco Workshops
Single class: $25 p/class
Level 1 or 2 (4days): $100 total
Estilizada (4days): $80 total
2 Courses (Level 1 or 2 & Estilizada): $160 total
3 Courses (Level 1 &2 & Estilizada): $230 total
Viewing only: $10 p/day
Teachers/Advanced 5 Day Workshop:
$150 total or $35 p/day
