Ausdance WA is funded by the State Government of Western Australia through the Department of Local Government Sport and Cultural Industry.
After being shortlisted for Outstanding Achievement in Community Dance at the Australian Dance Awards in September, TRACKSUIT is pleased to present another dance performance season for 2015. This year TRACKSUIT will be performing at the Heath Ledger Theatre, State Theatre Centre Western Australia.
Comprising new film and new dance, TRACKSUIT 2015 provides perspectives on new integrated, inclusive dance, and will be the premiere of a new dance work titled ‘Small Fortunes’ created by TRACKSUITERS in collaboration with Paige Gordon.
TRACKSUITERS, in partnership with SCITECH earlier this year, also created new films based on chosen themes and aesthetics of each individual TRACKSUITER.
This year they are joined by professional dance artists Bernie Lewis and Katy Geertsen, trained at WAAPA and with Link Dance Company, who have both spend their internships productively at TRACKSUIT this year.
