Presented by Ausdance WA, these professional learning days each offer a trio of enriching workshops designed to inspire and equip secondary dance educators.
Experience genre-taster sessions with guest artists Logan Ringshaw (Street Dance) and Deby Holmes (Broadway Jazz). Gain practical insights from Dr Luke Hopper on applying biomechanical principles and Chris Polglaze on engaging students with theory components.
Finally, workshop improvisation approaches to support imaginative responses, and join dance physio Ellen Paterniti to check your own knowledge of best practice warm-ups and cool downs, and discuss how you can convert these to a classroom context.
