Set in the landmark Masonic Contemporary Studio in Nedlands, Perth audiences are given a second opportunity to experience the unique interplay between written word and contemporary dance that was Articulating Landscapes. Ochre Contemporary Dance Company presents Articulating Landscapes II as part of their annual Choreographic Workshop Series, a redevelopment of the highly acclaimed July 2014 season.
Responses to July’s Articulating Landscapes Season at the Masonic Hall,
“Each work is well-crafted and, propless, relies on the physicality of this small company’s seven dancers, all rippling upper-body movement and strong, pillar-like haunches.” – The Australian Newspaper
“I just had this terrible moment where I thought I was going to burst into uncontrollable tears. It was just so beautiful and sad. I have never had a reaction like that to contemporary dance. Ever.” – Audience Member
