Prepare to be entranced by the stunning choreography, pulsating music and shape-shifting illusions of Shadowland.
The ground-breaking production has been created by Pilobolus, one of the most innovative and dynamic troupes on the international stage today.
A feast for the senses, Shadowland takes the audience on an enchanting, comical and seductive journey where reality and fantasy collide in a teenage girl’s astonishing coming-of-age story. It is a world of illusion and dance, where exotic creatures playfully appear and beautiful images are magically conjured seemingly out of thin air.
The world of Shadowland is a luminous playground of inventive dance and amazing acrobatics, set to an original score by American musician and film composer David Poe. The music ranges from pop ballads to rock. Shadowland was created by Pilobolus after several years of experimentation of the short shadow form. It is the first show of its kind anywhere in the world.
