$20 – $25LINK Dance Company presents Pulse, a showcase of cutting-edge contemporary dance from four groundbreaking international and Australian choreographers. Renowned Chinese choreographer Xianrong Xiao brings his fluid and organic stylings to a new work that will be devised with the graduating dancers. Dutch choreographer, Nils Christe and his co-assistant, Annegien Sneep, will remount his famous ballet, SYNC, which has been described as “a bright and sassy ballet for a group of modern-day ballet sylphs and the men who wander in and out among them.” (NY Times review). It is set to propulsive percussive music by Ludovico Einaudi. Completing the program will be works by local LINK Artistic Director, Michael Whaites and WAAPA alumnus and ex-SDC dancer, Kynan Hughes.
