The Ausdance WA regional program was set up to expand the engagement of regional WA communities in dance. This was done through promoting regional tours and supporting regional dance artists to create contemporary dance works with and for their communities.

This program was managed by a Regional Contemporary Dance Facilitator until 2016.

The Ausdance WA regional program was funded from 2010 to 2016 by the state government of WA through the Department of Culture and the Arts, and from 2012 to 2016 by the federal government through the Australia Council for the Arts.

Future Landings

Future Landings was a biannual production arm of the Regional Program. Ausdance WA commissioned and oversaw the delivery of contemporary dance performances in three regional towns/centres. These productions were created by and for the community they are delivered in, and as such belong to these communities. Find out more about the Future Landings program.
