2026 Teacher PD Day 1 – Ausdance Member

This Professional Development day is designed for Years 7 to 10 dance educators. All workshops are designed for lower school but may also be application in the upper secondary ATAR, General and VET pathways too. Workshops include:

1. EXPLORE: Chinese Fan Dance – Exploring a practical introduction to this cultural dance style. Facilitated by Min Zhu.
2. CREATE: Choreography and Collaboration – Investigating creative tasks that focus on generation and cooperation. Facilitated by Scott Elstermann.
3. PERFORM: Awareness, Alignment and Ideokinesis – Preparing the body for performance through practical approaches to scanning/thinking about the body. Facilitated by Reyes de Lara.
