Perth dancer Sarah Burns returns home after living in Los Angeles for 10 years, touring with Beyoncé and Jay Z, including performing in the epic Beyoncé and Destiny’s Child Super Bowl Halftime show. She’s worked with artists such as J Lo, Usher, Brandy, Janelle Monae and Hailee Steinfeld in music videos, at award shows, in movies and commercials. Sarah’s experience is second to none!
The Industry Intensive is a one day mentorship workshop designed for anyone who desires a professional career in the dance industry! Run by Sarah Burns who draws on her personal experience of what it takes to make it in the industry. The personalised training and mentorship you will receive with Sarah is truly unique to Perth. Teaching everything from audition techniques to styling your look and everything in between, Sarah’s experience and knowledge as a Perth girl now living and working in Los Angeles can help guide you to achieve YOUR dancing dream. There is guaranteed intimacy with limited numbers accepted into the Industry Intensive. Industry Intensive attendees will need to prepare three x 30 second choreography combos in three different styles relative to the genre of dance they hope to establish a career in to perform at the Intensive April 8th (eg. Cirque Du Soleil, cruise ships, contemporary companies, commercial dance – back up dancer for artists in music videos, stage shows & concert tours). Open to dancers 15 years+
