Nocturnal is the new contemporary dance work by dynamic and award winning independent collective, Brooke Leeder & Dancers. Nocturnal is based on secrecy, privacy, our inner most thoughts protected within the cover of darkness; Nocturnal is a work that lives in the shadows, unlimited by imagination within the endlessness of black. With daring physicality embedded deep between the speed and accuracy of the performers, Nocturnal exists between the intimacy of the quiet to the wildness and freedom of shadows, movements swift and dangerous, and disappearing just as fast into the depth of night. With Original Sound Score by Louis Frere-Harvey, and together with four of Perth’s finest performers, Brooke Leeder brings her distinct and electric choreographic style to this captivating new dance work.
