Ausdance WA in partnership with The Confucius Institute at The University of Western Australia was thrilled to present a Masterclass and Q&A at King Street Arts Centre on Sunday, 30 September.

The incredible student dancers from Beijing Dance Academy would be performing in their show Inheritance on Monday, 1 October. This Masterclass gave the dancers an opportunity to connect with the local dance community before their performance. It was also a complete treat for the observers to get an insight into the vast cultural dance styles from China.

Beijing Dance Academy bought with them two female and two male dancers to present traditional styles. There were 15 local dancers involved in the workshop.

Check out these videos and images Ausdance WA of the event.

Ausdance WA would like to say a special thanks to Catherine Driver from The Confucius Institute at The University of Western Australia for approaching us with this idea. It has definitely been one of our favourite events over the year!
